On 1 September 2025, Skyborn selected foundation suppliers for Gennaker by signing Preferred Supply Agreements with EEW Special Pipe Construction for 63 monopile foundations to be manufactured in Rostock and with Dajin Heavy Industry for 63 transition pieces fabricated in Penglai, China and finalized in Odense, Denmark, defining the main steel foundation supply chain for the project.
