In May 2014, Siemens was awarded the turbine supply contract for Gemini, providing 150 Siemens SW4.0-130 / 4 MW offshore wind turbines along with a 15‑year service and maintenance agreement for the generators. Siemens is also a project shareholder, holding a 20% stake alongside main owner Northland Power and other partners.
