In April 2014, Netherlands-based utility Delta (now a Vattenfall subsidiary) signed a 10-year power purchase agreement for 85% of Gemini’s electricity output, with the remaining 15% of production allocated to Dutch utility HVC. This long-term offtake arrangement underpins the sale of power from the 600 MW offshore wind farm once in operation.
