The Gemini offshore wind farm’s foundation installation campaign began in July 2015 when Van Oord, using its offshore installation vessel Aeolus for project owner Northland Power and partners, installed the first of 150 monopile foundations at the 600 MW site about 85 km off the Dutch coast.
