As part of the Gemini financing that closed in May 2014, the European Investment Bank and export credit agencies Euler Hermes, EKF and ONDD provided debt and export credit support alongside senior loans from 12 commercial banks. This package of public and export-credit backed financing complemented commercial debt and equity in the €2.8 billion project funding structure.
