NKT Cables was selected in May 2014 as the cable supplier for the Gemini offshore wind farm, winning a €165 million contract to manufacture and supply the transport/export cables linking the 600 MW project’s offshore substations to shore. The cables form part of the overall electrical infrastructure delivered under Van Oord’s EPC scope.
