GeoSea’s jack-up vessel Innovation installed the first of 56 monopile turbine foundations at the Galloper offshore wind farm, approximately 30 km off the Suffolk coast, marking the start of the foundation installation campaign. The foundations, produced by Sif Group and Smulders, are around 85 m long, 7.5 m in diameter and weigh up to 1,200 tonnes, with Tideway carrying out scour protection works.
