On 30 October 2015, Galloper offshore wind farm reached final investment decision and construction-ready financial close, with RWE Innogy, UK Green Investment Bank, Siemens Financial Services and Macquarie Capital each taking a 25% equity stake and a consortium of commercial banks plus the European Investment Bank providing about £1.37 billion of debt towards the £1.5 billion project, enabling construction to proceed at the site off the Suffolk coast.
