Description
GE (GE Grid Solutions) worked with Petrofac under a turnkey EPC contract to connect the Galloper offshore wind farm to the British grid. GE’s scope included overall electrical system design and the supply of substation electrical systems for the offshore (and onshore) substations, including transformers, GIS at 132 kV and 33 kV, protection and control, telecommunications, and ancillary electrical systems.
