In November 2015, the Galloper Offshore Wind Farm project, including its offshore transmission assets, achieved financial close, securing project financing from a group of commercial banks and the European Investment Bank alongside equity from the owners. Following this financial close, project delivery began immediately with construction works on the Galloper transmission assets, including the grid connection from Suffolk to the offshore site in the Thames Estuary.
