Installation of the Finlandskabeln interconnector was completed, with the 16 km long subsea cable laid between Nådendal on the Finnish mainland and Jomala on Åland during the spring and early summer, forming a new HVDC cable link supplemented by an optical cable. Remaining works mentioned relate to local adjustments in Korpo rather than the primary laying of the cable itself.
