Fingrid Oyj and Svenska kraftnät are jointly planning the Fenno-Skan 3 HVDC interconnector between Finland and Sweden, with an expected capacity of 800 MW and the intention to replace the aging Fenno-Skan 1 link and increase cross-border capacity by 400 MW.
