Svenska Kraftnät and Fingrid Oyj awarded ABB a contract valued at about USD 170 million to design, supply and install two HVDC converter stations for the 800 MW Fenno‑Skan 2 power link, including a 400 kV AC substation in Finnböle, a 70 km DC overhead line in Sweden and integration with the 200 km submarine cable.
