On 30 December 2010, Fingrid Oyj and Elering OÜ signed a €180 million turnkey contract with Nexans Norway AS for EstLink 2’s 145 km subsea DC cable and 12 km of underground cable in Estonia, covering design, manufacture, installation and seabed protection of the 450 kV HVDC link.
