Description
SLR Consulting provided consenting and engineering services to the Erebus floating offshore wind farm while working for the Principal Designer, OWC, and liaising with the Blue Gem Wind team. SLR’s scope included onshore EIA inputs and engineering package management for grid, electrical and onshore engineering FEED, including cable system design activities such as export system thermal rating and design, and cable array layout and power system modelling, supporting the project’s consenting and grid connection process. This engagement included engineering support relevant to the subsea inter-array cable design through cable array layout and associated electrical studies.
