Description
Offshore Wind Consultants Ltd (OWC) was contracted in February 2020 to provide pre-FEED owner’s engineering and project development support for Blue Gem Wind’s Erebus floating wind project in the Celtic Sea. OWC’s pre-FEED scope included project design and engineering support across geoscience and site investigation; electrical and wind turbine generator engineering; support for subsea array and export cable and landfall studies; and broader owner’s engineer services including survey procurement/management, layout optimisation, grid management support, port and transport & installation studies, operations and maintenance strategy development, and project cost modelling and package management.
