Bourbon Subsea Services led the consortium (with Pine) awarded the EPCI contract for the EolMed pilot project's Floating Electrical Hub (FEH) — the offshore 66 kV HVAC transformer platform that aggregates power from the three 10 MW Vestas turbines on BW Ideol damping-pool floaters and feeds the Prysmian export cable system. The FEH topside was manufactured in Limassol and delivered in October 2023, with offshore installation completed during the 2024 campaign. Scope covered design engineering, fabrication, transport and offshore installation of the floating platform. RTE is the end client for the EolMed export grid connection; Bourbon's contract relationship was with RTE/EolMed project.
