In May 2018, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), via its renewables subsidiary, acquired 49% of Enbridge’s interests in a renewables portfolio that included 49% of Enbridge’s 49.9% stakes in the Hohe See and Albatros offshore wind farms, for total consideration of C$1.75 billion, giving CPP an effective minority stake in Hohe See alongside EnBW and Enbridge.
