EnBW states that in January 2020 it took into operation Germany’s largest offshore wind power project, comprising the 497 MW Hohe See and 112 MW Albatros offshore wind farms with a combined capacity of 609 MW, indicating that Hohe See had entered full commercial operation by that time. Together the 87 Siemens Gamesa turbines now supply large-scale green power from the German North Sea as part of EnBW’s operational offshore portfolio.
