Offshore inter-array cable installation for the EnBW Hohe See / Albatros project commenced on 13 August 2018. The cable-laying vessel Spirit transported an initial load of inner-park cables from England to the offshore construction site. Supported by the supply vessel Stril Server, which provided accommodation and logistics for the required personnel, the team began the internal park cabling works. On 13 August, the first cable was pulled in between two foundation locations and laid on the seabed, marking the operational start of the offshore cable installation campaign. In total, the project plans to install around 130 km of subsea cables for the internal array network across the combined Hohe See and Albatros wind farms.
