On 21 July 2014, offshore construction at the EnBW Baltic 2 wind farm reached a key electrical milestone when the first cable was pulled into a turbine foundation. A dedicated cable‑laying vessel carried out the pull‑in operation at the Baltic Sea site, threading the cable into the foundation structure. The support vessel Siem Garnet delivered the necessary equipment for the task. This operation marked the start of installing the internal cabling system that will connect individual wind turbines to the offshore substation and enable power collection across the array.
