Description
50Hertz Offshore GmbH provided the grid connection service for EnBW Baltic 1, linking the offshore wind farm’s internal electrical system to the onshore transmission grid and transporting the generated power to shore via the Baltic 1 grid connection. The concluded connection system comprised approximately 61 km of offshore (subsea) cable and around 16 km of onshore cable, with voltage transformation at the Bentwisch substation near Rostock as part of the overall transmission integration.
