On 7 August 2025, EnBW published a tender inviting bids for periodic subsea inspection services across its offshore wind fleet in the Baltic Sea and North Sea, with Lot 1 covering the EnBW Baltic 1 and Baltic 2 wind farms. The framework agreement, with a maximum value of EUR 6 million, is planned to run from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2031, with options for up to three one-year renewals. For Baltic 1, the scope includes visual and functional inspections of all 21 wind turbine foundations and the offshore substation every four years, with the next inspection campaign scheduled for 2027. Contractors are required to organise DP2 vessel provision, logistics, crew transfers and ROV-based inspections between April and September. This notice formally opened procurement of subsea integrity inspection services for Baltic 1.
