On 14 May 2025, EnBW issued a call for tenders for crew transfer vessels (CTVs) to support operations at its offshore wind farms in the German part of the Baltic Sea, including EnBW Baltic 1. The tender is divided into three lots, with Lot 1 covering a 12-passenger CTV dedicated to Baltic 1 for transferring technicians and cargo. For Baltic 1, the vessel is to operate from the base port of Barhöft, with deployment periods from 1 April to 30 September 2026 and from 1 April to 30 September 2027. Contracts will run until 31 December 2028. This procurement notice marked the start of a competitive process to secure long-term CTV services for ongoing operations and maintenance at the Baltic 1 wind farm.
