EnBW Offshore Services entered into operations-phase charter agreements with UK-based Njord Offshore and Germany’s FRS Windcat Offshore Logistics to supply crew transfer vessels (CTVs) for the Baltic 1 and Baltic 2 offshore wind farms in the German Baltic Sea. Under the contracts, Njord Offshore will provide two 12‑passenger CTVs to transport technicians and cargo to and from the wind farms, directly supporting routine operations and maintenance activities at EnBW Baltic 1, which is operated from the O&M base in the port of Barhöft. The Njord Offshore charter is binding from 1 June to 30 September 2022 and again from April through September 2023, with an option to extend for a further two years. These vessel charters secure dedicated logistics capacity for Baltic 1’s ongoing servicing requirements.
