By 2024, the ELWIND project, covering both the offshore wind park and its cross-border transmission infrastructure including the Latvian grid connection, was included on the European Union’s Projects of Common Interest (PCI) list, enabling access to CEF-Energy co-financing for wind park support and cross-border transmission construction.
