Lundin Norway AS selected NKT as the turnkey supplier for the 132 kV AC XLPE high-voltage power cable linking the Edvard Grieg oil and gas production platform to the Johan Sverdrup field centre in the North Sea. The contract covers approximately 24 km of cable to connect Edvard Grieg into the Utsira High Power Hub, enabling the platform to receive power from shore via Johan Sverdrup phase 2, with commissioning of the link expected in 2022.
