Description
XOCEAN was contracted to carry out marine geophysical survey works for the Eastern Green Link 5 (EGL5) project. The scope comprised non-intrusive geophysical surveys to collect bathymetric data, seabed imagery and sub‑bottom imaging using seven remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and two support vessels (unmanned/USV operations were specified). Survey operations were scheduled to start on 23 April 2025 and continue until the end of June 2025, subject to weather, supporting route-definition and site investigation activities ahead of subsea HVDC cable design and installation.
