The Planning Inspectorate and the developer stated that the DCO application for EGL5 (covering the English onshore and inshore works and the marine elements in English waters) is expected to be submitted in the third quarter of 2027 (between July and September 2027). The application, when submitted, will initiate the DCO acceptance and examination process for the project’s consenting in England.
