An Environmental Impact Assessment Report (Environmental Statement) is expected to be submitted alongside the DCO application in August 2026. SP Energy Networks has stated that an EIA Report will accompany its planning application for onshore works in Scotland, and the applicant’s Regulation 8 notification to the Planning Inspectorate confirms the intention to include EIA documentation as part of the forthcoming DCO submission.
