A geotechnical survey campaign for Eastern Green Link 3 began in 2023 to characterise seabed sediments and near‑surface soils along the proposed cable corridor. Survey methods included vibrocorer sampling and cone penetrometer testing (CPT) from survey vessels to determine sediment strength and stratigraphy for cable burial assessment and later route engineering.
