SSEN Transmission completed the geophysical survey programme across the EGL3 subsea corridor in 2024. The completed MBES, SSS, SBP and magnetometer data were used to refine the subsea cable installation corridor, maximise potential cable burial and identify seabed constraints (boulders, rock outcrops, sandwaves and potential UXO) ahead of further route engineering and consenting.
