Murphy Technical Services Ltd, represented by a principal geotechnical engineer, provided engineering consultancy support to National Grid Electricity Transmission plc for the Scotland to England Green Link 2 (Eastern Green Link 2) compulsory purchase order work at Wansford. The scope included reviewing project-specific and publicly available geotechnical information and developing/assessing feasible trenchless crossing construction solutions (including HDD options, microtunnelling/pipe jacking and other trenchless methods), with recommendations on preferred technique and further ground investigation requirements to support detailed design and risk management.
