Cable-laying operations for the Eastern Green Link 2 subsea HVDC link were planned to commence in January 2028. Marine warranty and installation planning (including vessel suitability, DP assurance and pre-installation surveys) was being mobilised by appointed suppliers to support a multi-campaign cable lay programme that will install and joint HVDC cable sections along the Marine Installation Corridor.
