Description
Localgiving was appointed by National Grid Electricity Transmission to administer the Eastern Green Link 1 (EGL1) England Local Community Fund. Localgiving managed the application process and tailored the fund to local needs, opening the first grant round in early November 2025 and accepting applications for grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 to support community projects near EGL1 construction activity. The partnership covered fund administration, applicant support and coordination with the project team to ensure the fund targeted local community benefits.
