Iv (Iv Group, Netherlands) is the engineering, procurement and integration subcontractor to HSM Offshore Energy for the East Anglia TWO HVAC offshore substation, working under HSM's full EPCIC contract awarded by ScottishPower Renewables in early 2025. Iv's scope covers integration of client-supplied high-voltage equipment and control panels within the consented topside footprint, procurement of UKCA-compliant components under the post-Brexit regulatory framework, and coordination of DNV ST-0145 certification in close collaboration with HSM. The topside weighs approximately 5,100 tonnes and the jacket structure approximately 3,700 tonnes. Iv's prior UK offshore-substation references include the Neart na Gaoithe HVAC OSS and the Sofia HVDC offshore converter platform, both involving similar system integration, regulatory compliance and procurement scopes. Construction began in Q4 2025; jacket installation is scheduled for Q3 2027 and topside installation for Q4 2027, with commissioning in 2028.
