Description
ScottishPower formalised a turbine supply agreement with Siemens Gamesa for the East Anglia TWO offshore wind farm in the southern North Sea. Siemens Gamesa was contracted to supply 64 SG 14-236 DD offshore wind turbines (960 MW). The announcement stated the contract was worth more than £1 billion and that turbine blades for the project would be manufactured at Siemens Gamesa’s Hull factory in the UK.
