On 29 March 2023, ScottishPower Renewables formalised a £1.3 billion contract with Siemens Gamesa to supply 95 flagship 14.7 MW offshore wind turbines for the 1.4 GW East Anglia Three offshore wind farm in the Southern North Sea, providing enough green electricity to meet the annual demand of around 1.3 million UK homes.
