The turbine installation campaign at East Anglia THREE started with the installation of the first Siemens Gamesa SG 14-236 DD offshore wind turbine, featuring 115-metre rotor blades and a tip height of around 262 metres, at the project site in the southern North Sea; this milestone is reported in an article dated 22 April 2026 and forms part of the build-out of 95 turbines totalling about 1.4 GW of capacity.
