In Allocation Round 6 (AR6) of the UK Contracts for Difference scheme, East Anglia Three achieved successful re‑bids for part of its capacity, securing additional CfD support on top of its existing award. According to ORE Catapult’s AR6 analysis, these re‑bids for East Anglia Three, alongside Hornsea 3 and Inch Cape, provide developers with greater financial security to take final investment decisions by allowing them to retain most of their original CfD awards while re‑bidding up to 25% of capacity at updated strike prices, albeit with commissioning dates pushed out to 2027–2028.
