RES has been awarded a significant contract to deliver high-voltage services during the construction and commissioning of the 1.4 GW East Anglia THREE offshore wind farm, including acting as primary switching authority under ScottishPower Renewables’ electrical and mechanical safety rules and installing and managing an on-site control centre covering the wind farm, converter stations and export cable; this HV work is anticipated to start in the first quarter of 2024.
