Constraints Mapped

By May 2014, environmental and technical constraints for East Anglia THREE had been mapped and incorporated into project design, including careful routing of the onshore electrical transmission works to avoid sensitive areas and protected sites where possible. The PEIR Non‑Technical Summary notes that sensitive siting of the offshore wind farm and cable corridor, plus commitment to mitigation measures aligned with East Anglia ONE, meant most potential impacts were either avoided entirely or reduced to non‑significant levels in both offshore and onshore assessments.
