Offshore converter station (OFCS) commissioning projected to complete in Q3 2026, aligned with the project's first_power projection. As of WNoO #016/2026 (20 April 2026) the OFCS is in active commissioning phase, with accommodation jack-up JB 120 jacked up alongside providing accommodation and walk-to-work access to commissioning teams, and PSV Bos Prelude running cargo runs from Emden and Lowestoft to support the works. Topside was installed 16 October 2025 (jacket 11 August 2025) — Aker Solutions (manufacturer) and Heerema's SSCV Sleipnir (lift) — making this ScottishPower's first ever HVDC offshore converter station. Date inferred from the project's first_power projection (Q3 2026) and the requirement that OFCS be commissioned and ready to receive power before grid export begins; precision: quarter.
