Turbine Supplier Selected

ScottishPower Renewables selected Siemens as the turbine supplier for the East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm, signing a major turbine agreement that will supply up to 102 of Siemens’ 7 MW offshore turbines as the project’s largest individual contract within the £2 billion development. The deal underpins East Anglia ONE’s cost-reduction goals, supports up to 1,500 jobs, and commits to blade manufacturing at Siemens’ new Hull facility and wider UK sourcing of components and services.
