Description
Siemens Transmission and Distribution Ltd. was awarded the electrical system infrastructure contract for the Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm. The scope covered engineering, procurement, construction and offshore hook-up of one onshore substation and one offshore substation, including the offshore substation jacket foundation, with overall system responsibility to connect the wind farm to the 400 kV National Grid network at Necton, including transformation from 33/132/400 kV. Works were scheduled to be finalised during 2016.
