In January 2014, project partners Statoil and Statkraft awarded Siemens plc two contracts valued at more than £500 million (around $848 million) to engineer, supply, assemble and offshore commission 67 Siemens SWT‑6.0‑154 6 MW wind turbine generators for the Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm, including an initial five‑year service period combining two years of operation and maintenance followed by three years of technical assistance and other agreed services.
