In a July 2014 press release, the UK Department of Energy & Climate Change stated that the 402MW Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm, located 32km off Cromer in North Norfolk, was expected to start generating electricity in 2017, following the developers’ Final Investment Decision for the project.
