In February 2014, Dudgeon Offshore Wind Limited, owned by Statoil and Statkraft, placed an order of about $55 million with ABB to design, supply and lay the submarine AC export cable system for the roughly 400 MW Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm, comprising two 132 kV three‑core submarine cables each around 42 km long to bring power ashore near Sheringham and onward via underground cable to the new Necton substation for grid connection.
