On 2 September 2014, VBMS awarded JDR Cables a contract to design and manufacture more than 95 km of 33 kV copper‑core inter‑array cables and associated accessories for the 402 MW Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm, with production to take place at JDR’s UK bases in Cambridgeshire and Hartlepool and using two continuous‑length XLPE‑insulated cable types (185 mm² and 500 mm²) tested to IEC 60502‑2 and CIGRE standards.
