Description
Siemens supplied the main high‑voltage substation infrastructure for the Dudgeon OFTO during the construction phase. Transmission Capital’s investor presentations state that the Dudgeon transmission asset includes a single offshore platform manufactured by Siemens and that both the onshore and offshore substations were provided by Siemens. This role covered the fabrication and delivery of the offshore HVAC substation platform, as well as the associated onshore substation equipment that interfaces with National Grid at Necton. These substations form the core of the 132 kV HVAC twin‑circuit export system that connects the Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm to the onshore 400 kV grid.
